Bihl Haus Arts exhibition of Te Tataitanga’s co-curator’s Kathy Armstrong’s photographic documentation of her year-long residence in New Zealand, and paintings by New Zealand artist Lea-Anne Sheather. San Antonio’s International Center will feature a solo exhibition of New Zealand artist and Te Tataitanga’s co-curator Nigel Borell. His painted and stitched works pay homage to native New Zealand fauna. Free, open to the public. Opening Reception Jan. 23, 5 – 7P.

Embark on a remarkable journey abroad and trace the Ursuline’s historical path back to France with a week-long artist's retreat. The majority of the trip will be centered in the small French village of Auvillar. Spend time in the studio, at Le Moulin a Nef, once a 17th century mill, with one-on-one drawing and painting instruction by popular SA artist Jeanette MacDougall. Daily trips, including ones to idyllic locations for drawing and painting in the landscape will be included.
