Youth & Teen Art Studios

Youth Art Studios are a wonderful opportunity for young artists to get direct instruction
from one of our Artist Instructors. Classes will be offered in a variety of media for ages
8-18 and will be 4 to 8 sessions long.

Each class will offer an instruction to technique, ideas, creativity, and exploration. Students
will be required to work on projects throughout the week as they delve into art
topics and new ways of making.

Just as our in-person classes are kept small, our virtual classroom will also be limited to a
max of 10 students in order to guarantee one on one instruction and the ability for Artist
Instructors to get to know students and their work.

In-person classes will follow strict guidelines as set out by Southwest School of Arts
Guidelines to Reopening Campus. Students will be required to wear masks while in
buildings and studios and to participate in check-ins for temperature screening. In-person classes will require that the use of art-making supplies be unshared and dedicated
to each student in class. Other health and safety guidelines such as hand washing,
sanitizing of studio space and work areas and scheduled outside breaks, will also take

In-person classes will provide all necessary supplies and materials for students who are
registered for a course.
