The Young Artists Garden is the place for kids and teens to get creative and make some art. Talented artists, with the assistance of volunteers, will guide participants through the hands-on creation of Fiesta medals and crowns, clay sculptures, stained glass, and more. Each activity requires four (4) coupons (each coupon costs $1).

Where is the Young Artists Garden?
The Young Artists Garden is located in the River Garden, tucked quietly away from the bustle of the main Fairgrounds. The Young Artists Garden also features food vendors, with offerings that appeal to kids. PLEASE, no alcoholic beverages or smoking while in the Young Artists Garden.
How do I pay for activities?
Coupons for activities and food can be purchased at any coupon booth located throughout the Fairgrounds.
May I leave my child while I enjoy other parts of the Fair?
The Young Artists Garden is a participatory learning experience. Parents are expected to participate alongside their child. We request that you remain with your child at all times.
My child or teen wants more art! How can I get more information on classes at UTSA?
Our staff will be on hand to answer questions about Young Artist Programs at UTSA Southwest campus and to register students for Summer Art Studios.
