Our Admission Process

We appreciate your interest in our college degree program! At Southwest School of Art, we take pride in shaping artists one by one and are very careful to select those students who we feel are most likely to succeed in our intimate and rigorous program. Admission decisions are made by our Admission Committee, which includes: two rotating faculty members, the provost, and the recruitment and admissions officer.  Admission decisions are heavily weighted on the quality and completeness of application materials, with special emphasis on the digital portfolio. Each incoming class is intentionally limited to about 25 students, which means that only the most qualified applicants are admitted.  For more detailed information, take a look at our view book below.
