Community Classes

Art for Everyone!

Classes, Facilities, & Faculty

All Southwest School of Art classes and workshops are open to those who have the desire to learn. Many classes are structured for beginners, and all emphasize individualized instruction.  Studio facilities are comparable to many university-level facilities.  A majority of current and adjunct faculty hold MFA degrees.

Adult classes are designed for students age 18 and above; however, these classes are open to high school students with written permission of the Department Chair.  Children's classes begin at age 5 for Summer Art Studios and Saturday Morning Discovery; Kids & Teens tuition classes are available beginning at age 7.
